Since childhood I’ve been fortunate enough to live in North Devon. Summer holidays were full of days at the beach, in rockpools & collecting shells. My fascination of driftwood & the sea has never disappeared.
We now live in a small cottage not far from the coast in the village of Buckland Brewer, this is where I have my garden workshop.
I’m a self taught artist, having only done a brief foundation art & design course at college. I do however have an incredibly artistic, talented mum, I’d like to think a little has rubbed off.
It’s great to be able to work with a medium that really enthuses me & to make it my profession. Always new, always exciting, always discovering.
My driftwood is locally collected from the rugged Devon coastline, it’s then hauled home along the coastal path in my bulging rucksack, then home to the log cabin where the creativity begins. All my work is lovingly designed, handcrafted & made to serve the test of time.
I love the unique nature of driftwood, each piece is truly unique & beautiful . My driftwood creations are likewise, one of a kind…never to be sold again.
I’m happy to discuss any driftwood design ideas, do get in touch if you would like a bespoke item made. Photos are sent for your approval prior to purchase.
